We spend most of our lives in a structured environment. From school to work, our schedules and our goals are predetermined. We don't learn how to be our own bosses, how to best manage our time, how to attain a goal that seems impossibly big. When I quit my job to pursue writing full-time I wasted hours on Facebook and Netflix. Sound familiar? The endless, unstructured hours of the day ticked past without any results. With no one holding me accountable, I put off my to-do list until it stated to seem useless. I beat myself up for being unproductive. But I wasn't unproductive, I just didn't know how to make the best use of my time.
The thing is, a schedule is really helpful. A boss is really helpful. Co-workers are really helpful. And you don't get any of that when you're working by yourself. But I can help with some of that.
Make It Work Mondays is a way of starting your week right to ensure success. We meet at 9am on Mondays. During these sessions we work on our individual goals, devising a schedule for the upcoming week, setting an intention to guide our efforts, brainstorming ideas and challenges with the group, and holding ourselves accountable. By making this small, weekly commitment, you'll make sure that the rest of the week is productive and successful.
This program does not offer business training, although people in the group will most likely have wonderful ideas and resources to help your business grow. This program offers structure, routine, accountability, and community. I hope to help you bring your vision to life!
