Get out of the slush
Astoria -- 2-4pm -- Saturday, June 24
The "slush pile" is a term for all the unsolicited manuscripts an agent gets. Typically a junior agent skims through the slush pile to recommend one or two manuscripts for the agents to read. It is very hard to get out of this pile. We'll be hearing straight from a professional slush reader on how to stand out from the pile and make sure that your manuscript gets the attention it deserves.
